UNITECO Interat 700HT intumescent catalytic converter support mats with characteristics of both intumescent and non-intumescent mats will work as non-intumescent mat at low operating temperatures less than 350°C based on the spring-like ceramic fiber matrix to provide the holding force while behave as intumescent mat at temperature above 350°C based on holding force to the substrate provided by the small quantity of vermiculite particles within the fiber matrix compensate for thermal gap expansion of the outside shell and present robust performance at continuous working temperature from 750℃ to 950℃
